The 13 desserts of Provence box set
Symbolic of abundance and sharing, the 13 desserts have been part of the Provencal tradition for several centuries. They often adorn Christmas tables in homage to Christ and his 12 apostles but are also offered throughout the year as sweets of Provence.
This box is composed of 13 traditional desserts of Provence, almonds of Provence, French hazelnuts, raisins flame, dried figs (representing the 4 religious orders: the Mendiants), dried apricots, calissons of Aix, white and black nougats of Provence, slices of iced clementines, fruit pastes with apricots and figs of Provence, dates Medjoul, orangettes and the famous Gibassié, a shortbread cracker.
To support the beekeeping industry, 1 € will be donated to Act for Planet for the purchase of a box.
